Overview
Focuh is a local-first Chrome extension for blocking distracting websites during a focus challenge.
Data the extension stores
Focuh stores the following data in Chrome's local extension storage on your device:
- The domains you choose to block.
- Your challenge start and end dates.
- Daily counts of blocked-site attempts.
Data the extension processes
When you navigate to a webpage, Focuh checks the top-level page hostname against your blocked-domain list. If the hostname matches during an active challenge, the extension redirects the tab to its local blocked page and increments that day's attempt count.
Data sharing
Focuh does not sell, share, transfer, or transmit your data. The extension does not send your blocked domains, browsing activity, attempt counts, or challenge settings to any external server.
Remote code and analytics
Focuh does not load remote code. It does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party telemetry.
Data deletion
You can delete the extension's stored data by removing blocked domains in the options page, resetting your challenge settings, clearing the extension's Chrome storage, or uninstalling the extension.
